Dla to pip advice

Hello all.My son will be 16 next year and I will have to be his appointee.He has Autism and Adhd.His Dla actually runs past his 16th birthday but should I contact them now? As he will be 16 on February 1st.Any advice is appreciated thank you

No you don't have to contact them, the DWP should automatically send the pip forms out a few months before his 16th birthday😊1 -
