For AUGUST 🤨 😱 😉 (tomorrow, yes!)

It's the month when seasonal tubs of chocolate appear on shelves and seasonal things come out of hiding to find a friend.

Are you ready for August? 😁

    Happy August eve! Can't believe we're already so far through the year 😱

    I don't like to wish away the days, but after all this hot weather I'm ready for Autumn to start now to be honest 😂

    Although for me August is a sleepy month and I don't have too much planned which will be nice.

    Have you got any plans for your August @WhatThe?

    Yep, I already have 2 events booked, Comic Con in Leeds tomorrow, and a Taekwondo Seminar in Penistone on the 22nd.

    I wouldn't mind getting some vitamin D in August - I've been mostly housebound since the heatwaves began in May!

    @SheffieldMan1976

    I didn't know anything ever happened in Penistone, other than people standing in front of the sign to cover the letters "tone" and having their photo taken 😆

    @WhatThe In the supermarket yesterday they had reduced the fence paint for clearance. So I bought some. The lady on the till said there was only another three weeks for gardening stuff then it would be finished.

    That ties in with them getting ready for Christmas goods and getting the spaces ready.

    August? I'm ready for October! Can't believe we've still got another 6+ weeks of hot weather. 😑

    I can't believe there are Christmas adverts already @Gigi64! I went to the Range the other day and there was a lot of Halloween things and I thought that was way too early. I know people like to be prepared and plan ahead but this seems ridiculous 😂

    I know but i promise you it’s true , also I popped to our local garden centre in the week , they always start early and they had all the next years calendars and diary’s out plus they were clearing all the summer garden furniture out the way getting ready for the autumn! I’m glad anyway, I’m sick of all this heat it’s not healthy for a lot of people , it makes me ill and flares up health conditions. I wish it would rain and get cooler .

    I must say I do quite like autumn and I miss wearing comfy jumpers and leggings. I love a rainy day too @Gigi64. There's nothing better than sitting with a cup of tea and watching the rain out of the window. Is summer the worst time for your conditions?

    I'm enjoying the weather, my bones even more! No Xmas stuff yet, but back to school (and they've only just broken up!) & Halloween stuff creeping in sharing space with BBQs & garden stuff still.
