proof of postage

Hi we have finally compilated my pip review from (well my partner had to fill the form in for me due to severe arthritis in my hands) What is the best way to send it please. to make sure it doesn't go missing thanks.

    Hi @ketokid. I bet it feels good to have them all completed! You could send it Royal Mail Tracked so it requires a signature on delivery. There's also Special Delivery which is more expensive but offers full tracking, although admittedly I don't know exactly what the difference is in terms of how the letter is tracked.     Do make a copy before you send it off (doesn't have to be paper, photos on a digital device is sufficient).

    I really like Tracked48 for documents, it's cheaper than Special Delivery or Signed For, and offers great tracking as well as delivery confirmation.

    a good way of having proof of postage is to arrange a home pickup by the Postman and then buy recorded delivery. This is something that I did when sent compiles of my name change to ESA & PIP

    Always get it signed/tracked delivery, it's a bit more expensive than just sticking a postage stamp but it's worth it to ensure it doesn't go walkies (although to be fair, even signed/tracked can go missing, as I've discovered the last 4 out of 5 times I sold owt on eBay)
