Afternoon everyone. I have a friend who’s been selling her own clothes or clothes she’s bought and never wore . She is wondering if there is a cap what can make when on universal credit and ADP , thanks any suggestions or advice is very much appreciated. 🩷🩷

As long as she's not making over about £16K, UC won't care.

That article says that when selling items on Vinted etc, those companies are obliged to inform HMRC if the seller makes more than £1,740 or over 30 sales in a year.

I thought they would be selling stuff on there, I know it applies for ebay too. Have you got anything to sell Chris? Couple of houses you don’t need anymore 😂😂😂

Apart from powerchairs and scooter, nothing I own is worth selling. 🙄

thanks for your replies . Sorry I ended up out today , there really doesn’t seem to be clear answer , is it down to either Vinted or eBay to inform, sorry it’s all little confusing . Though I’m confused easily 🤣🙈

I believe that they have to inform HMRC, it's the law. I don't know, but don't HMRC have a website with all this information? I only heard about it recently on here.
