Has anyone been taken off naproxen because of a TIA

So, I suffer from serious pain, but the doctors have taken me off naproxen because I have to take aspirin, and now they are struggling to find a replacement. Has this happened to anyone and does anyone know how long it will take for a replacement to be found. Been waiting for a month now and each time I ask they say they are still looking at what they can do.

    Sorry to hear you're in so much pain. I really hope they're able to find a suitable replacement soon. Did they give you a rough time frame?

    It still may be worth contacting the GP and explaining that your pain is unmanaged and severe and you need an immediate interim option if possible while they decide on the long term fix.

    My GP also took me off of naxproxen sighting its not a med compatible with my heart disease. That decision disappointed me because naproxen worked really well for my arthritis. I now have a different med called Methocarbamol which doesn't seem to do anything for my arthritis.
