Have a grumble.

First thing this morning BOTH my hearing aids came apart! The staff fixed the left ear one, but the right ear's still broken, and we don't have an appointment up at the Hospital till the 3rd of September.
As is the state of our oh so wonderful National 'Ealth Service!

Did you not manage to get your spare hearing aids from you parents at the weekend? Did you say you were visiting them?

Chipped my favourite mug!

I've been dropping and breaking things in the heat, Mary..
I hope the fires are out now and you get rain soon! The next and potentially bigger crisis will be flooding.

No that was the other week.
And the ones that broke this morning ARE the spares, the originals are being repaired up at the Hospital.
I wouldn't mind but they of all people know I can't function if I don't have at least one working aid.

That is a shame. Did the hospital say when the repairs would be done?
Are there any stronger hearing aids available on the NHS that would be better for you?

Nope, the irony is, 2 years ago, after a ton of Googling, I made my own enquiries to the Hospital about having a Cochlear Implant fitted, instead of hearing aids, like Fury on Gladiators, they said I'd function better wearing 2 hearing aids, and I've had a ton of problems with both aids breaking a lot ever since.
