Pip review and capita
Hi everyone I’m looking for some advice regarding my PIP review. I previously had Enhanced Daily Living and Enhanced Mobility and completed my review form. After a telephone assessment with Capita I requested a copy of the PA4 report before a decision was made because I was concerned about a number of inaccuracies and contradictions in the report I submitted a formal complaint to Capita and also sent additional evidence directly to the DWP including a GP letter my LCWRA tribunal decision and a letter explaining the issues I found in the assessment report
Capita have now told me that they have upheld my complaint and said that they will arrange a further assessment, although they have not said when this will take place. As far as I am aware, the DWP Decision Maker has not yet made a decision on my review
My question is whether I should continue receiving my existing PIP payments while I am waiting for the new assessment and a final decision on the review. Has anyone been in a similar situation where Capita upheld a complaint before the DWP made a decision and arranged a reassessment? If so, what happened with your payments and how long did it take before you heard anything further?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated Thank you

Hi @a_78123, Usually it would take a new decision being made to suspend or change your PIP payments. So if this hasn't happened and the review is ongoing, I don't think they would adjust your payments yet. Hopefully there's a member out there who can share their experience of what happened for them though as I don't have direct experience of this myself.
When would you normally receive your next payment? You could try calling the PIP enquiries line to find out if it's still due to be paid. Or you could also check the proof of benefits site online to see what it says about your award there.
Fingers crossed it's all carrying on while you wait for news!
