    I was invited by universal credit under caution investigation and universal credit said they didn't see enough proof that I pay child minder that my bank statement they printed behind my back was not showing the full amount that I paid to child minder, I told them I.paid rest in cash from money my son gave me universal credit said they didn't see the proof in my bank statement.......they can't see the money taken out from my bank because it my son that always given me money cash in hand to pay childminder ....they are yet to come out with outcomes but they said court or fine. Please what can I do ...I have submitted evidence of payment to universal credit ( invoice from child minder that I paid in full)

    Sorry to hear that @timobode, that must be stressful. Does your son have any way of showing where he got the cash that he pays them with? If he takes it out of his own account then a bank statement from him might be one way of showing where the money is coming from.

    It may be worth speaking to a professional benefits adviser to see if they can support you through what happens next. You may be able to appeal the decision if you don't believe it's correct, but it would be a good idea to get some advice on this.     Hi @timobode did UC know your son was giving you money to pay the child minder? As he is giving you cash it will not be going through your bank account.

    This could be why they are asking the questions.

    Hi,

    Is this specifically for the childcare element of UC? If so, they will want to see that you've paid the childminder using your money, as that's what they're paying it to you for.
