    I’ve just learnt today my application for LCWRA has been accepted, when should I receive payment, thank you .

    Was this a brand new claim, or did you previously have an award of LCW?

    Even though you've received the decision, UC need time to process everything.

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    Going forwards, you'll see LCWRA element added to your new payment statement, but it might not be on the next one.

    If any backpay is due, this is dealt with seperately. You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days and new versions of the applicable statements added.

    just to clarify, I had phone assessment June 25th, letter to confirm they had my details on July 13th, yesterday in my UC journal confirmation that I have been awarded LCWRA, how long should I wait? This application started in May.

    Looking at the information given, you probably aren't due any backpay.

    Due to the waiting period, you probably won't see the LCWRA element until the statement for your September/October Assessment Period.

    Or if I'm incorrect, it could be on the statement for your August/September Assessment Period.
