    I am not long in, i am very sorry to hear this! I have heard her talking to Ricky Ross a number of times on BBC Radio Scotland. A remarkable woman.

    Yeah it was on the news at tea time that, very sad, I was surprised she was only 80 though, she's been around for Donkey's years so I thought she'd be slightly older?

    @SheffieldMan1976 that was one of my first thoughts, too! I imagine like a lot of singers she just started very young.

    I think there was once a musician who, because he started young, lived to see his own music go out of copyright, back in the days when you had 75 years and the "clock" didn't start only upon the person's death.
