UC payments stopped. No money for bills, food

I was terminated from my employment of being in the post for 10 years due to Ill health Capability. I was given a PILON of 10,600 pounds after taxed. This was paid on the 24/06/26 and since then I have not been receiving any payment with UC despite not earning anything for July, and now August. I querried with UC as I was told that they calculate your income on a Montly basis. I don't have any savings, the cash has already been used for medical purposes. I dont have money to pay my bills, rent, food and other things I need. Im not sure if the decision made by UC was correct.

Hi @Bobeno and welcome to the community. I'm sorry that you are struggling for money. What did UC say about you not receiving payments? Do you mean the PILON was fully paid off on 24/6/26?
I've sent you an email, so be on the lookout for it.

Oh sorry I seem to have got a bit confused about the PILON there, apologies. As @MrHappy2 has said, your UC payments will reduce if you have a certain amount of savings. Do any of those amounts apply to you?
Here's some more information -

You were right Rachel, PILON counts as income during the month that it's received. Then it gets counted as savings in following months if not used.
We need to know the OP's Assessment Periods to work out when they should start getting paid again. It is possible that it was paid on the first day of an AP, for example.
