need to attend job center plus

in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi we have just had our first online UC review. However, we filled it in incorrectly, we corrected it online on our journal yesterday we got a message this morning saying we have to attend the job center next week to take proof of our accounts because my partner got some backpays from DWP last year we have declared all this. My partner is in poor health and not sure if we can attend. What can we do please.do we have to go?

    I would imagine face to face is mandatory in this instance.

    As previously advised, your PIP backpay was received over 12 months ago (while you were on IR ESA) so is likely no longer disregarded and now counts as capital. When you later claimed UC the 12 month disregard clock continued, it didn't restart.

    With large amounts of capital it is usually mandatory to attend in person with paper copies of statements.

    This is a separate matter to the normal reviews conducted online.

    Ok thanks again Kimi87 how far back do they normally ask for to go back on our bank statements they haven't told us Thanks .

    You could add a Journal note today and see if you can get it confirmed exactly what they want dates wise.

    If you don't get a reply, I would take your latest statement (s) in.

    Then if they want to go any further back as well, they will say.
