House buying in housing association

hello can anyone help me answer this query.are you still allowed to buy your home from housing association whilst on benefits.or have they stopped the right to buy??

We don't have the right to buy in Scotland, and a good thing too.

Hi @AngCha and welcome to the community. You can buy your housing association home and it is now called Right to acquire. Here's some more information https://www.gov.uk/right-to-acquire-buying-housing-association-home

You would need to have been living in a housing association for 3 years and the house must be self-contained. Do these apply to you?
