PIP couldn't identify me
Hello,
I rang PIP on Friday, but even though I gave them my national insurance number and address they could not identify me.
I have lived at my address for 36 years, so it shouldn't be a problem. They sent me a text this morning saying I have to contact them before 5pm to confirm my identity, but due to it being a bank holiday I can't get through.
The strange thing is when I spoke to the guy on Friday he took me through the initial claim, but said that we are unable to identify me.
I can't ring them now until Wednesday due to me being at work all day tomorrow.
What can I do to solve this, as they didn't ask me for my driving licence number. I would have happily gave them that.
It says in the text I only have 3 weeks to solve this or my claim will be terminated.
What can I do?

I can't understand it to be honest. I have a valid driving licence with my photo on it, but they didn't ask for that.
So I'm not sure what to do next. But weirdly they sent me a text this morning saying I need to call them before 5pm but their shut 🤔

Sorry to hear you've had trouble with this @Renegade. I would just try to ring them as soon as you can tomorrow and explain what's been happening. They should be understanding that you weren't able to call them on a bank holiday or while you were working. Hopefully they'll be able to get things sorted for you ☺️
