How is your day going?

It is more of what that time of year represents which is all about family. I always preferred working at Christmas and treated it like another day of the week. My Ex was all sunshine and rainbows and went all out at Christmas, often neglecting her side of the bills. Fair to say there was plenty of arguments to be had. I am more black, white and straight to the point. I haven’t even watched a Christmas film since our last Christmas together in 2022. I think of those I have lost, but not certain members of my family that are still alive.
I haven’t even watched come to realise since my marriage break up that I am better off on my own with neither friends, family or partner.I also think with the C word that it is over commercialised, more about money and rammed down your throat for four months of the year. I ain’t a fan of Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween nor Bonfire Night.

I completely agree that it is over commercialised @Rag_793. I get annoyed with all the decorations being sold so early in the year. Eventually it will take up the whole year! I think there's a bit of pressure about how to celebrate the day, but I think you should spend it in whichever way you like.

Your absolutely correct, what make me mad is seeing adverts on the tv saying parents can buy there kids there dream present but only if they take out a loan.
I tend to just go down a dark route at Christmas and close down. I have come to slowly realise that last Christmas I suffered another breakdown after my divorce was finalised.
I am living my life my way, just doing the best I can and that is all that I can do.0 -
Good morning everyone. Another wet day here.
Enjoy your day whatever you do.
Take care.

Good morning everyone. @Rachel_Scope yes it's a cool breeze. I've had a thin jumper on all week. Lunch club today and on the menu is Roast Pork and Apple Sauce and Roast Potatoes with Brocolli and Butternut squash both of which I don't like so it's just Roast Pork and Roast spuds and apple sauce for me and Profiteroles for afters and coffee. have a great day all and take care.

Morning everyone! Bit chilly here too today, but I'm embracing the cold ☺️
That sounds delicious @Johnboy412000. Can't beat a roast spud! Enjoy!

Good morning.
Its mild and a bit drizzly here.
The sun is shining.
I'm going to a local social club later to see some friends.
They play bingo and I don't so I leave when that starts.
Its still very busy here with tourists.
I went to Padstow yesterday and it was absolutely heaving there.
I foolishly thought it may have slightly quietened down.
I hope you all manage to enjoy your day.
Take care.

Workout done, had a decent wee wholesome breakfast, and now I’m at work with a cup of coffee. ☕ Not a bad start to the day at all.
Anyone want to join me for one?

Afternoon All,
Quiet Day at the mill, struggling at the moment with low energy reserves. Slept in until 11 today which isn’t good to say the least. Going to watch tv for most of the day, going to have some toast, decaf coffee and a Belvita bar later on.0 -
I have a sense that I am in a huge rut of low energy stores at the moment. Feeling exhausted all the time, all I am doing is eating, sleeping and watching tv. Just have no energy to do any housework, let alone leave the prison I am in. I am drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated and eating small meals.

Good evening.
I didn't manage to go out today.
I was so exhausted I spent the afternoon laying on my bed resting.
It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.
I enjoyed watching the soaps this evening and I'm watching Long lost family.
I hope you all have a peaceful night

Rather blustery here and 42mph winds due this afternoon. It feels chilly too in the wind. On and off light rain. Chill out day today. Have a good one everyone.

@Rosie_Scope Thanks I did enjoy it.

Morning everyone! Absolutely tipped it down this morning. Saw a very sad looking cat that got caught in the rain, poor thing! Looked very sorry for itself 😄 Hope you're all staying dry and cosy today.

Be careful with steroid cream, it can cause topical steroid withdrawal if you are not careful:

well the very large box was dropped off with the Rollator inside, certainly made getting it upstairs sat on a stairlift fun.
