Enhanced review after reporting new PAYE job
hi everyone so I reported a change to my circumstances. I have been GSE self employed for about 5. I started PAYE job which I wanted to try do along side my self employed work and see if I can manage to do both. I reported I am self employed and employed on the first day of training which was paid training
The next day I get a self employment review at the job centre which was schedule two weeks from now but later in the day I also received an enhanced review call next week for me and my partner, however my partner didn’t have to upload any documents, I had to upload ID, Proof of address and a selfie
The paye job was horrible. I decided to quit on the third day of training and just want to continue increasing self employment work. I updated the circumstance immediately
What type of evidence will they ask from me? So far it was just ID stuff, I haven’t received any payment so far it was just two two days of PAYE training, about 16 hours. If they do pay me it will be a small amount beginning of next month so I don’t have payslips or P45 or anything and I’m sure they would know if I was paid via Hmrc in the past right?
is the call just to verify my current employment circumstances? I didn’t know simply reporting stating PAYE job can result in an enhanced review and I knowt his is the trigger because even though my wife has a call, she wasn’t asked to upload anything
we had a enhanced review call few mtonhs ago (related to travel) we both had to upload documents and residency stuff. This time it’s only me

Enhanced reviews usually trigger automatically when you report starting a PAYE job. Don't stress—they just want to verify your status so there are no overpayment issues.
On the call, they'll likely ask for:
Bank statements (to check for incoming pay)
Proof of resignation/end date (an email or text showing you quit after 2 days)
Basic SE income logs (if they ask about your self-employment)
Just explain you tried it for two days, it didn't work out, and you quit. Since HMRC updates them on earnings anyway, having a quick resignation email or note handy will be more than enough to close it out.

Thanks for the reply. I sent an email and took a screenshot saying I won’t be continuing with the training.
