GRRRRRRR 🤬🤬🤬 just spoken to the customer service team for my housing, they won’t send anyone out to look in to my smelly drain that makes my bathroom inoperable!! They just said purchase some drain unblocker…..

@Biblioklept thank you for your sympathy. My max is 24. So this is killing me. Sorry about your wasted pasta 👎🏼
@Rag_793 a friend showed me many moons ago how to unclog a drain. It's a ridiculously simple and cheap life skill. Here's a video (note the rag placed in the hole - crucial for obtaining suction)....

Oh no @Rag_793! Are you able to purchase drain unblocker today?
My grumble of the day is opening my freezer earlier and a bag of frozen peas falling out all over the kitchen floor😡0 -
Hi Mary, the peas made a bid for freedom, I can imagine it took awhile to account for them all.
Strangely my frame isn’t blocked which is infuriating to say the least, I have had to order some Mr Muscle from Sainsbury’s through Uber Eats and now left it to soak in the drain.

I was there for ages with a dustpan and brush @Rag_793🤣 Hopefully that starts to work soon!

I'm surprised you didn't notice it before bed. I don't consider myself to have OCD, but I check the taps and cooker switch etc every time I go out or off to my bed.
In my mid 20s, I got the blame for flooding the downstairs flat, the kitchen sink being full of dishes, and the tap was left on. This was in an HMO.
All the ceilings had to be replaced, but they landlord couldn't prove who was responsible.
That experience has left me very particular about checking taps!

I wish any of my OCD traits were helpful 😅 never checked a door or a lock or a window in my life, nor hobs, etc!
I think they were posted under my previous account but I've had all sorts of adventures of coming down in the morning finding front door unlocked and open because I've forgotten about it! Keys get left in locks, etc.
Mine is very much germs and contamination, I've always been a bit extreme with cleaning my hands and stuff, but about 5-6 years ago it got insane. I antibac and steam clean everything that comes into the house, surfaces, door handles, switches, etc. I even know some of it is unreasonable but can't stop.
I think if I'd had your experience with the flooding I'd be checking taps more too!
