Who remembers Mr Freeze ice pops from the 80's and 90's? I think the small ones were 5p and the big ones were 10p, I think I liked the cola flavoured ones the best.
I also used to have a yellow Mr Freeze ruler that I'd take with me to school, God knows what happened to it, I've not been able to find any pictures of them online either.

Could not find the exact picture, but this is a memory from the late 60's and early 70's. They were two for a penny. In my memory they were "Hubbly Bubbly" but the now means something else.

I remember those! I remember me and my mum having them when we were moving house back in 1982 when I was 6.

A few days ago I was talking about how at my grandmother's house they metal outside dustbins. They were very heavy, had no wheels, were the wrong shape to carry, were usually filthy, and often had sharp edges that you'd cut yourself on when lugging them down the drive. Despite all that and how our modern bins are better in every way, I was saying how I missed them 😆

I remember those Mr Freeze @Ross1975! Loved them. I have a hazy memory of one that was bright blue. Maybe blue raspberry? That was my favourite alongside the cola flavour.
I suddenly remembered these weird little drinks called Kwenchy Kups from the 90s and 00s. I think you got a tiny little straw that you had to punch through the cup lid. We used to get them for school discos or 'picnic' school dinners that we ate on the field in summer. Pack of 10p Space Invaders, kwenchy kup, a roll and a piece of fruit that nobody ate 😋 Those were the days!

I remember those too, we had one where the can was a silver/grey metal and the lid was black and made from some kind of rubbery material.
You could put everything and anything you wanted throwing away in them, metal, paper, garden waste, glass, even electronics, all mixed in there. No having to put certain materials in certain coloured bins and then other certain materials having to be taken to the dump because they can't be just thrown into a bin.

Rosie_Scope, yes there were blue ones and they may have been blue raspberry, I really like those too. In the 80's we had something very similar to the plastic cups that you punch a straw through the top but they were round.

Yes @SheffieldMan1976! I circled Mr Frosty in the Argos Catalogue so many times, but sadly Father Christmas never delivered.
I did get one of these popcorn makers after asking for a long time:
The popcorn always tasted like hot plastic though 😄

I remember when Blackjacks and Fruit salads were 2 for 1d (an old penny) and they were bigger than nowadays (when they are 5p each)

I was also in a corner shop the other day in a town about an hour from where I live and they had the original Slush Puppy machine and cups there! I hadn't seen the original brand of slush for years, it always reminds me of swimming lessons as we used to have one after every lesson🤣
