Debt relief order

had my debt relief order approved on the 24 June told us in my journal been on the phone with debt management 3 times sent prof 2 weeks after been awarded still not had it sorted they say we can see the dro but are waiting for Wolverhampton to sent it this is never ending

    Sorry it's taking so long @bumper55. Have you contacted the company who sorted the DRO to find out how much longer it will be?

    Ty I get my statement this week so I’ll look at if it’s been removed if not I will get in touch with the company that did it for me

    Do DROs get rid of debts to DWP as well then? I didn't know that! It's not relevant to me but good to know as it may help others

    Yes they can @Biblioklept! It wasn't something I was aware of either.

    all sorted finally stopped taken the payments and payed what I had been deducted after the date of the debit relief order

    Waiting on paperwork while dealing with different departments is exhausting. Hopefully Wolverhampton processes the DRO soon so you can finally move forward.
