6 years since I survived an attempt on my life, which the crisis team played it off saying if you feel like hurting yourself, flick an elastic band on your wrist or hold an ice cube in your hand. Suicide is something is always at the back of your mind when you battle mental health and life itself.

Both my mother (54) and my sister (54) felt they had come to the end of their lives, my sister (my best friend) did it exactly at the same age years later, not a day goes by where I don’t think about them, my sister and I spoke everyday about the devastation we all felt, but it never ever leaves you……..

I sadly commented on this earlier on, looks like what I have said triggered an internal alarm and stopped it being posted.

Maybe my post will be removed too, but I speak from my heart ♥️

Certain keywords might trigger our filters so we have to approve things manually, especially on sensitive topics like this. It's just there to keep everyone safe so we can quickly get in contact with anyone who might need some support ☺️
I think it's really important to have frank conversations about suicide and all the complicated issues that surround it.
It must have been so disheartening to have them suggest such a simple solution when you were in so much pain @Rag_793. Mental health support still has a long way to go sometimes.
I'm sorry for the loss of your mother and sisters @Dynamisante, losing so many loved ones must be incredibly difficult 💜
