so worried

Hi everyone,

I had an appointment with an advisor at my local job centre yesterday, but she was awful. At one point she even admitted to me that she was deliberately trying to scare me into getting a job (I struggle with my confidence). The advisor I saw isn't even my normal advisor as she's really nice and understanding.

The advisor I saw yesterday even wanted to see my private emails and I told her that I can't access my emails on my phone due to the signal on my phone not being very good due to me being in the job centre and she said something like "typical".

She even tried saying that none of my medical conditions are reason for not working, I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure (I wouldn't have wanted to check that after I'd seen the horrible advisor), depression, severe obstructive sleep apnea and the start of a cataract in either my left or right eye (I can't remember which it is now).

When I had my telephone appointment either last year or the year before I found out that I've been diagnosed with either a learning disability or difficulty but I can't remember which one now.

I didn't even know that I had. The person who spoke to me was trying loads of different ways to ask the same question and I gave them the exact same answer as I had when they first asked me and that was "I don't know what my learning disability or difficulty is as I didn't know that I have been diagnosed with one" and they give up after a few attempts.

I'm not sure what to do now as I'm dreading my appointment with her next month.

I might take my mum with me next time as my mum has ways of talking to people to make them listen without raising her voice.

Well she has got 4 adult children of which I'm the eldest as I'm 43, my middle sister is 42, our youngest sister is 37 and our brother is 34.

Although loads of people have thought that my brother is the oldest as he's the tallest of the 4 of us as I'm 5'1, my middle sister is either 5'2 or 5'3 (she was given two different heights as I think one was given by her doctors and the other was a hospital), our youngest sister is the same height as me and our brother is 5'7. I've added a photo of me (I'm the lady in the pink top), my brother and my best friend (yes I'm older than my best friend as I'm 44 at the end of November) I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right place or not, but it was the only community I could think of.
