PIP Paper Based Report
This is a new claim for PIP and I had requested a paper based assessment. After an update I was told that it was not accepted for a paper based report the first time, so it had been forwarded again for the same purpose: a paper based report. The health professional has not picked up the file yet. The health advisory service is Maximus.
I am aware there are no timescales and I have provided evidence of all my GP and Psychiatrist reports. I think they also said that they would make enquiries to my Doctors.
Is this standard procedure and do they call the GP or do they send a form. My psychiatrist has changed and no longer works there so would that be an issue?

Hi @DeeBee7 and a warm welcome to the community from me!
This is standard procedure as they will sometimes contact your GP if they believe they haven't received enough information to make a decision and they can either phone them directly or send them a form. It can vary.
That shouldn't be an issue because your GP practice should have all of the medical information on your records from your psychiatrist.
Lovely to have you here and I look forward to seeing you around the community!0
