Help with DLA claim review please?
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone can help me.
I was made appointee on my daughter's DLA claim about 6 months ago and I've not heard from them until yesterday. They've sent me a review for her with a load of questions and I'm completely lost. I've never claimed anything before and her mum did everything for the claim.
I don't know where to start. Is there a way to know what was previously said? Are they looking for certain answers or any particular words or phrases that I should use?

To see what was said before you'd need to make a data request for the original application form & assessment report
A local advice agency can help with filling in forms, or perhaps there is a charity linked to your daughters condition that can help remotely.
There is also general information available

Hi Kimi87 that's really helpful, thanks.
Would DWP give me the personal information as it wasn't me who made the claim and my daughter has a different last name to me?

You are her appointee, you can always ask and see what they say.
Different names won't matter as not everyone has a family member with same surname as their appointee.

That makes sense. I'll start with that. Thanks Kimi87
