Thanks @Scooby222 π I didn't know that about the Croatia supporters! I'm glad they're letting in children to watch instead. It's such a shame that people get too carried away and spoil things. I bet the kids will have an amazing time!

England playing again tonight, v Czechia.
I dont know which version of England are going to turn up... the exciting and energetic shooting stars of the last match, or the 11 static dustbins of the match before that. Who knows....
Any predictions? I'm going to go 2-1 England. But I could be wrong!

I'm going to claim that my prediction of 2-1 for England v Czechia was correct, it's just that the Czechia goal was in the wrong net.

I donβt know if anyone but me follows the Lionesses, but they play the first of 2 matches this week against Greece in the Womens World Cup play-offs. ITV1 at 5.00pm.
England must get through two rounds of home and away ties to qualify for the Women's World Cup in Brazil.
They tend to play best in do-or-die fixtures, so these should be good matches.

I don't know if anyone else follows the Lionesses, but they have the first of 4 must-win matches this afternoon in the World Cup playoffs. Greece v England 5.00pm ITV1

I watched a few of the Lionesses matches around the Euro @Scooby222, I remember thinking they were a really strong team!! Are they still doing as well?
Do you think they have a good chance of qualifying for the World Cup? And what's your score prediction between Greece v England?π0 -
They are often a brilliant team, you can never write them off even if they are 2-0 down in a big match (which they were a couple of times in the Euros last year, and they ended up winning the cup in that!)
I think they might be a bit rusty but should win, maybe 0-1? Greece will probably be hard to get past.

They should qualify, they were runners up to Spain in the last World Cup, and have won the last two Euros as well.

Greece 1-3 England in the end, not too bad, bit ragged in places, but a win is a win! π
Their next match is on Tuesday, hopefully that will be more flowing.
