I wasn't too sure at first as I love both cats and dogs. I have 2 cats but would love a dog. The only reason we don't have one is we don't have room at the moment. The question was quickly answered though when I saw a ginger cat walking past my window and I excitedly jumped up and knocked on the window so I could wave hello π

Thank you @Mary_Scope My own pattern indeed, I am planning to do about 7 or 8 in rainbow colors. I read in the news that here in the NL (not to say worldwide, just think about the US) people are not as supportive of the queer community as it used to be.

I am split 50\50 having grown up with a cat and a dog, Sasha & Spot were both rescued from shocking circumstances. As was Ozzy my late Whippet x Staffy I rescued in 2018 off Facebook. I am hoping that once my flat is finally decorated and furnished, I will be looking to adopt a moggy to bring some life back into the flat.

Aw that's really sad to hear, it sounds like a scary direction we're going in! That's a great idea though and a really lovely way of showing support and solidity. Please post them when you're finished if you feel comfortable to do, I'd love to see them!

sadly my flat is a case of how long is a piece of string, kitchen will be done anytime over the coming months, then it will need decorating. Living Room is by far the biggest area needing decorating; the, bathroom is a small job. Hallway and stairs need carpeting which may need the stairlift removing. The flat is fifty-two square metres. I really want to do it myself, but I have to reign myself in, if I got on ladders or steps then I would end up in hospital, same with oil based gloss, due my asthma and long covid. Any gloss work has to be sanded, primed then water based gloss used.
