Maximus Assessment Shambles
Hi All
On the 16th September I was due to have my PIP assessment with Maximus after informing DWP about a change to my health. At the time I was due to have my assessment someone from Maximus phoned to say the health pro would call in 10-15 mins as they were reviewing my paperwork, health pro called 20 mins later to tell me they didn't have my new forms with my change of health conditions😠 so we could either do the assessment without the paperwork or I could email it to DWP and do the assessment in 2 weeks. I said I would send the paperwork again. DWP does not have an email address so I had to post the paperwork again which I sent recorded delivery so I know they received it. Fast forward 2 weeks, Same health pro phoned to do my assessment….No paperwork AGAIN🤬 I decide just to do the assessment, now a week later I haven't received the text to say DWP has received my assessment report!!!🤔
Has anyone else had this kind of poor experience with their assessment and should it take a week for DWP to receive the report?
Thanks for reading😀

Absolute shambles of a system. They couldnt be more inefficient if they tried.

Sorry to hear that happened @SaraLou, that doesn't sound good at all! Have you spoken to anyone from PIP to see if they have any updates? The enquiries line can be a bit hit or miss, but it might be worth a go. Sometimes it might be that the text just hasn't come through even if they have received your report, but it's difficult to say.
If you wanted to make a complaint about how you were treated, there's some details here:
Complaints procedure - Department for Work and Pensions - GOV.UK
I'm sure our members will have some advice to share too.
How do you feel the assessment went?
