UC LCWRA Tribunal
I finally won my LCWRA tribunal on 11 September 2026, but I am still waiting for confirmation of whether DWP intends to implement the decision. My latest statement does not include the LCWRA element, and I have received no backpay.
I have contacted Universal Credit numerous times both through my journal and helpline, and I still have no clear answer or update on my claim and I’m instead being passed back and forth with vague responses.
I was told someone from the service centre would be looking into it, after no response and calling the helpline I was told a case manager would call me by 6pm yesterday. The same service centre employee then said they have escalated it to the job centre.
Does anyone have any advice or guidance? I’m aware it takes a while to sort out but I’ve not even had any acknowledgment from them of the decision, never mind implementing it.
Many thanks in advance 😊

It does take up to 8 weeks to implement a tribunal decision. You wouldn't necessarily have any communication I believe until things have been processed. Though I'm happy to be corrected on that point.

Hi @mariahhairam. From looking online it say 4 to 6 weeks but it can take longer as Kimi has said. Maybe give it a couple more weeks and then reach out to them again? Then they'll have had 6 weeks to process it and they'll hopefully be able to give you a more definitive answer.
