What Are You Watching? TV Show Recommendations Please!🎬️💻️
I know a lot of us are watching The Traitors at the moment and have chatted in the celeb traitors 2026 discussion so I thought I'd make a general TV thread so we can talk a lot more about TV😊
I've recently watched The Blame on ITV Player and thought that was good! Next on my list is The Party which is also on ITV and the new Carrie series on Amazon. Has anybody watched those yet? 🎬️
What are you watching at the moment? And what recommendations do you have?

I watched season one of MobLand earlier in the year, going to carry on with season two later on. Also waiting for NCIS Origins and NCIS New York to start over the coming months. I need to also catch up on Chicago Fire, Med and PD.

That's a brillian cast @Rag_793! What is the plot like? I used to be a big fan of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, never got round to Chicago Med though

it is directed by Guy Richie
The Harrigan Family: The story follows the powerful, ruthless Irish Harrigan crime family (led by patriarch Conrad Harrigan, played by Pierce Brosnan, and his cunning wife Maeve, played by Helen Mirren) who dominate the criminal underworld in London. The Fixer: Tom Hardy stars as Harry Da Souza, a calm and capable top fixer for the Harrigans who is tasked with cleaning up their crises and keeping their criminal empire intact
As you can imagine it is crazy

I've been watching 'easy' shows that don't require much thinking 😆 My current obsession is Is it Cake? on Netflix. They have a Halloween series which is brilliant. It's not groundbreaking television but it's a bit of fun.

I used to love Neighbours @Amberpearl. I've actually been to Ramsay Street!

On BBC, the show Time is great and just came out with a new series. I think we're 2 episodes in but all of them are available on iPlayer. Definitely a sad watch, but really good and I'd recommend the other series of it if you haven't seen them.
If you've got Apple TV, Widow's Bay is fab too. And Slow Horses. It's now on season 5 I think but worth a watch!
I've heard good things about East of Eden on Netflix. Has anyone watched it?

I’ve been watching Apocalypse on Channel 4
It’s an interesting show but I think it could have been done much better

Many thousands of anime have been created in various genres, some tiles contain thousands of episodes - everyone will find something interesting for themselves.

In this satirical comedy, a zany nobleman navigates through family feuds and clashes with peasants in his quest to become Poland's most famous figure.

That looks like fun @egiste2r! Not one I've heard of before. Do you speak any Polish or do you watch with dubbing/subtitles?

I love a bit of Traffic Cops @Amberpearl. Do you watch any of the other police shows like Police Interceptors? I like those too. And Nothing to Declare
I watched episode 1 of East of Eden on Netflix yesterday and enjoyed it. I've not read the book, so I don't know what to expect but I'm definitely intrigued about what will happen next!

I’m back on old episodes of Frasier which has always been a favourite of mine ❤️

I also recommend paying attention to TV series filmed in the Scandinavian countries. In recent years, many interesting series have been filmed there.

Unfortunately, you do not write whether you are interested in films and TV shows made outside the core of the Anglosphere. However, I note that the adaptations of the original series filmed in the US and UK are worse than the originals, such as HPI and Der Tatortreiniger.
