feeling really depressed and deflated

I have been trying to find a job in my hometown that's within walking distance from my home, but most places want drivers, experienced carers and experienced retail assistants and high level qualifications. My highest qualification is my NVQ Retail Level 1. I also have GCSEs grades D-G and a GNQV health and social care Foundation.

I was hoping to have a job before I have to go to the job centre on Wednesday as I really don't want to see my current advisor.

I might contact my local job centre on Monday and see if they can refer me to the Disability Employment Advisors for support as my current advisor doesn't seem interested in helping me to get a job or any training to help me to get a job.

I haven't been able to apply for my provisional driving license as we had an emergency bill that needed paying and my mum didn't have enough money to make the payment for this month, so myself and my fiancé sent her what we had between us, which was fortunately enough for my mum to pay the bill and to stop the bailiffs from coming to take our stuff.

Hi @BrianMcFaddenfan24 I am so sorry you are feeling so depressed and deflated. Could you phone the job centre on Monday explain you have sent a complaint and you need to see a different advisor on Wednesday?

Are you able to take someone with you on Wednesday?

    Please try not to worry.

    Take care.
