Do people with disabilities pursue friendships with able bodies
Hey I'm Olie and I honestly find it hard to make friends here since many people assume everyone on here is physical impaired, which I'm not and that can be awkward, but I'm just genuinely looking to make some life long friends! Am I wrong?

Hi @olive_green welcome to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. Any questions just ask.
This is a Disability forum therefore the majority of members do have either a physical or mental health disability or both.
Have a look around and join in when you are ready. You might like to start with the Coffee Lounge for chats or the Games Den to join in some games.
Do you have any hobbies? Having similar hobbies to another member can be something to talk about.
Friendships can take some time to establish and joining in is a good way to start.
Take care.

Hi @olive_green
Are you looking for friendships in your local area? Have you considered joining some social groups or spending time volunteering?
I have a disability, both physical and invisible, but have a mixture of disabled and non-disabled friends. These friendships grew from work, college and volunteering.
It can feel daunting, but slowly putting yourself out there, can create friendships.
