Hi all

Getting married in March 2027 both myself and future husband are both full-time wheelchair users with cerebral palsy spastic quadriplegia. Just starting to stress over now you may kiss the bride! Any idea what to do?1

Hi. @beadles93 I'm Sara and I have right-sided hemiplegia, so I understand the challenges of organising days out or events but considering them in a different way.

You don't have to conform to traditional methods when it comes to the marriage service. You must do what is most comfortable for you both.

Have a chat with your future husband about what this special moment looks like. Please don't stress, the wedding day goes by in a flash, so enjoy every moment.

This is incredibly exciting @beadles93!! Have you finished the wedding planning?

I think what Sara said above is wonderful advice, it's yours and future husband day and you get to decide what works best for you😊

Congratulations @beadles93, that's so exciting! As Sara said above, I think the thing to focus on is what you both want from your day and work from there. Traditions are nice, but you and your partner's love for each other is the most important thing. You can celebrate it whatever way works best for you both ☺️

80s weekend sounds amazing for your hen! Butlins is great fun so I'm sure you'll have a blast! Have you got some 80s outfits planned?
