What did you read when you were younger?
I was thinking about the good old days when I used to buy a magazine and put the posters up on my wall and sing along to the chart hits with my newly acquired lyrics. I was a big fan on Smash Hits. I used to love it when they gave out freebies such as a cardboard Peter Andre mask 😂
Did you read magazines?

What did you read when you were younger?... So you consider yourself not young now?
I don't think so about myself.

Me too @Mary_Scope!
Then I graduated to Mizz magazine when I was a bit older, especially if it came with a free gift:
I guarantee I would have entered that competition to meet S Club 7 😄

Beano for sure..
I grew up with the Moomins, Roald Dahl, Arthur Ransom, Peanuts,
Used to be very into computer magazines as well. Sci fi books, there was a Star Trek novel series that came out at WH Smiths (prob worth a bit if I kept them) Star Trek Adventures (1970–1981)Novels based on The Original Series.[a] Bantam never applied an official series name to the novels, instead marketing each volume as a new or original "Star Trek Adventure"
I was really into cooking as well & got one of those cooking magazines where you filll up folders each week.
In more 'recent years' I did of course read every Harry Potter & still re read read Pratchett. - I just wish he was still around writing - his books still have so much depth & humour0 -
I never read comics as a child just Narnia The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. At the library I got a lot of other books to read. Later on Terry Pratchet

I first read The Lord of the Rings aged 12, The Hobbit around the same time, The Silmarillion a couple of years later.
I suppose you read The Cronicles of Prydain? I must admit, I have even re-read them as an adult, the same with The Weirdstone of Brisingamen trilogy. I was pretty impressed with Boneland, the final book, written 50 years later.
