Hi chris and welcome
ESA and PIP use different criteria and although having a PIP award will help, by no means will it guarantee an ESA awardm
Depending on area tribunals can take 6-8 months or more. You could ring the tribunal clerk for an update on waiting times

You should have an acceptance letter from the tribunal with the phone number on it
When did you send in your submission ?

yes i did i received awloads and loads of paperwork back from dwp ill go through it again later and check, I'm sure i downloaded it and sent it back with a copy of the MR to DWP early November

You should have sent it to the tribunal service. They would then have written accepting your appeal. The DWP then have to prepare their case and send you a copy
