    Hi @sueclayton84

    Good Afternoon & Welcome.

Please please let me know a bit more about your “up and coming appeal”

We have got lots of “info & advice” where I can point you in the right direction.

There is also a “Benefit Advisory Service”

They are very very helpful indeed.

I can also try to help you myself if required???

We have also got many members who would be more than happy in “helping & supporting”

Please let me know how you feel ?????

Hi iv been on DLA for  a good few years now.I had a mobility car .when I was called in to change to pip the stopped everything they took the car also I didn't get any benifit from them.this was about a year ago.they gave me a date around 5 to 6 months ago but called me on the day of my hearing to tell me it's cancelled due to not enough medical papers.they have now got around 200 and I have copy. I have been given another date 5th Feb 11am. I have suffered from arthritis for many years it's now gone to osteoarthritis plus I have angina also is and have no control over my bowels.so I would like some advice please as the lady doctor who I saw at the pip office has lied so much and I feel it's that that has not helped me.

    Hi sueclayton

Medical evidence is not enough to receive an award. PIP is about how your functionality is affected. The criteria for PIP is differnt to DLA
Have a look at the B&W self test to understand the points, descriptors and criteria

    http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/pip/indexxx.php

Have you entered your submission ?
Your submission should explain the difficulties you have and why. Can you do the activities safely, repeatedly and to an acceptable standard.

They often ask how long can you walk for.
very slow walking is up to 45metres per minute
Enhanced mobility is no more than 20 metres
so walking time would be less than 30 seconds

    Hi there,
This isnt really my area but I have a lot of experience here.
when you filled in the forms did you go worst case scenario in all answers?
I found this page and it tells you what points you get and need in each criteria to score points.
    https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-points-system
It may be worth putting everything in writing.
