Advice about PIP dates

i had full dla, then transfered to pip, lost mobility would not take any notice she actually said , this is pip not dla, any way they gave me lowest on everything till oct 2018 1 yr early i had to claim again a whole year i cant walk unaided, in my home aswell, i have i file with all my specialist letters they dont care, i am asking for help, the letter said 20 dec 2017, but been xmas i did not get letter untill after the new year, is it to late to ask them why going from that date please,

Most claims are reviewed a year before the end date. once a new decision is made your old award is superceded

My decision for this claim said 20 Dec 2018 is it amonth from the date as it was after Jan when I actually got the letter with it being the holidays. Can I phone them or is to late0
