Hi @cloe1
A good place to start is the Law Centres
We have a lot of information about appeals here, let us know if you have any particular questions.0 -
there doesnt seem to be any near me what else can i do because my local citizens advice arent being helpful with esa appeal and so i dont really want to use them if there are other places that can help i live in maidenhead0
-
Oh that is a shame, is this for PIP?
0 -
yes with the esa one they did a letter to me saying more new evidence was needed and when i got my pratice manager from my doctors to call them he dint know what more was needed0
-
So with ESA did you have to appeal too? What was the outcome of that?0
-
still waiting for tribunal0
-
and what doesnt help is that know one medical wants to help me even though they agree with me that i shouldnt be in this situation0
-
There is lots of information here about PIP appeals, is there anyone who could support you with this? A family member or friend?0
-
there is but how am i meant to magic new medical evidence to help0
-
i looked at the appeals info do jobcentre plus have people who can deal with appeals1
-
Perhaps you need to go and see your doctor again to explain more? Do you see any other medical people? Consultants/nurses etc?0
-
ive been trying to get help with my conditions since november but dont seem to be getting anywhere and my doctors did a letter last year saying how i struggle to do day to day activities0
-
and i was under an ot last year who did a massive report saying how i would struggle to hold down a job but the problem with that service is that once they helped me they close my case0
-
You could try calling the Scope helpline on 0808 800 3333 and speaking to one of our helpline staff?0
-
okay i will give them a call tommowow thank you0
-
Great @cloe1
They are open 9am to 5pm on weekdays, it can take a while to get through but do persevere0
