Hello I just wanted to ask what proper support is out there for adults with ASD like myself?

There is none. I asked for some after my diagnosis. I was told to try a peer led group by NAS. Not great if you have issues interacting with people and can't cope with noise. It wasn't unusual to turn up and not have a clue what was going on.
Social services were utterly useless. According to them, I don't have Autism and I'm just awkward. They had this wonderful habit of taking me places which was full of people and loud noise. Which is just great for someone who can't stand loud noise...-1 -
