I applied fir the PIP in March 2016 but was refused I appealed but was refused it was so humiliating as I have high blood pressure osteoarthritis in ankle and knee and hip imbalance suffer with pain and going up and downstairs very cumbersome and painful. Have blue badge but find it very stressful that my application was turned down on a points system. So unfair! Not sleeping properly and need meds for this. I'm dreading having to try and reapply then hear the news today that all those people who were told no would be looked at again. That appears it will take forever. Any advice please.

Hello, @ronocco and welcome to the community.
I can't answer your specific question, but I have no doubt that there are others who will be able to help and there are a number of resources here which should help you to establish what you are entitled to. You might want to try this link and talk to a benefits advisor: https//community.scope.org.uk/categories/ask-a-benefits-advisor
I don't doubt you will find many here who are in similar circumstances and ready to chat about and share their own knowledge, so please pitch in, and if you can think of any ways in which we might be able to assist you just ask
Warmest best wishes to you
