Hi @mazned2010
Welcome to the community, I'm so sorry to hear about your partner's stressful experience, unfortunately this is something we hear too often.
We understand what a difficult and upsetting time going through an appeal is and we have quite a bit of info about how to go through the appeal process here.
If you have any questions, do let us know, we have a lot of members who have been through the PIP appeal process who may be able to offer support and information.0 -

so sorry for your claim being refused, those who have been claiming DLA and moving over to PIP have to jump through so many hoops and prove their need. The point scoring is a bit cut and dry either you can or can't do the daily living descriptors. Only you know what you wrote in the pip form and what you said at the acessment which gave the acessor cause to disallow your award by giving a low point score. As for the mobility element I don't know what happened there if you had full mobility before pip why it was stopped I can only sujest what was said at acessment. Use the help pages of scope and look into wining appeals on the site benefits and work for help members guides are only for members only worth the joining fee.0 -
Appeal ASAP to tribunal. Gather evidence and proof with written statement regarding the illness. Tick you want to attend the hearing as that best chances of winning. Dont be scared as it right to have benefits but its not right of DWP taking away your benefits. Anymore help or advice please just reply back.0
