I'm a very new member. I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Been in hospital august and September. as a consequence I have loss majority sensation below waist. Cannot walk, barely stand with help more than 30-60 seconds, have a suprapubic catheter and it goes on.
So who else is about and what is disability that effects you?

Hello John, @tinakath01
and a warm welcome to our community.
Really sorry that life is giving you such a hard time. People on the site have a very wide range of issues and you are bound to find friends here. I used the search box and found this, which should take you to blogs, posts and discussions about MS
http://https//search.scope.org.uk/s/search.html?collection=scope-meta&query=ms&p%24lt%24ctl11%24SearchBox_1%24btnSearch=Search
and, outside of Scope, there's also the MS Society site, if that might be of any use to you:
https://www.mssociety.org.uk/ms-support/support-groups
Others who know more than I do will be responding soon so have a look around, use the search box and links and ask any questions you might care to ask.
It's good to have you on board.
Warmest best wishes,
Richard -
Hi @tinakath01, and welcome to the community!
So sorry to hear of your recent difficulties. You may like to chat with @pateick, @julietcusimano and @SethLaa who have all mentioned experience with MS on the community. I hope today is as comfortable as possible for you.
