Hi @susan48, and welcome! How can we help you?
-
I have depression, anxiety, involuntary body movements and speech difficulties. I have lost the high level of PIP, and waiting on my appeal date but don’t think I can go through with it
-
So sorry to hear this, @susan48. The appeals process can feel really overwhelming and worrying at times, but you're not alone and we'll do our best to help you. Whilst you wait for your date, it might be good to familiarise yourself with our guidance on appealing a DWP decision. I've also moved this post into our PIP/DLA category where hopefully our community members will be able to advise further.
Do you have any support for your conditions at the moment? -
Thank you.
iv had my antidepressant doubled and sleeping tablets but Iv only got my G.P.
I was seeing a psychologist but that ended last October, I’m thinking about asking to see someone when I next see GP, don’t want to waste their time though??
Had CBT but didn’t help. I feel isolated and extremely low -
I think that sounds like a good plan @susan48, it certainly wouldn't be a waste of their time and there might be something that suits you better that could help. We also have a mental health advisor who would be happy to answer any questions or advise on any particular concerns you may have!

Thank you will talk to them
