Movement disorder

Hi @paula_artist
If you are having these side effects, perhaps you should see your GP so they can check everything is OK.Scope

Hi Sam. I've been like it for 5 years. As I don't have a sensation I can't stop them. Antidepressant caused my tics. Brain now set in pattern. It's been a long journey. GP said straight away it's the meds. Psychology. Psychiatrist. 2 neurologists. All saying psychological. Meds now say abnormal muscle movement on leaflet.
At George's movement disorder professor agreed with my GP. This is whom I am now in this moment. Ignore ignorance. Lol. if i screamed and it made them jump and they are rude i Smile and carry on. Otherwise I ignore my tics. There are things I can't do anymore. Drive. Iron. Nearly ironed my face.
The worst thing. Not being able to push a pram. My arms jerk. Lift my grandbabies. I have to sit on sofa and be given babies.
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. X -
Not feeling able to push your grandchildren in their pram, due to the tics, must be upsetting. However, I think that it should be possible to design an adaptation for the pram to dampen the impact of your tics so that the children have a smooth and safe ride. This is the sort of design challenge that REMAP can often help with:
Also I suspect that you are not the first person to encounter this issue with pram pushing, it might be worth also posting the question on:

Thank you. The link doesn't work.

I have just checked both the links again and they are working fine for me. Perhaps you will need to enter them into browser or use google to find the sites that I suggested: firstly REMAP and the other link ( https://www.disabledparent.org.uk/) goes to the website for an organisation called Disability, Pregnancy &Parenthood.
Best Wishes
