P.I.P Assesment! Can I ask them questions?

Hi Everyone!
Can anyone tell me if I am aloud to ask questions, About the person doing the assessment? Their name? Profession? Ect?
And can I write down what questions they have asked me? and my reply?
I'm I' prouvondly deaf, and they have cancelled my appointment again, due to them not having a txt linc.
I'm in limbo at the moment to when I will receve another appointment through the post.
My husband did inform P.I.P that someone would have to write everything down for me.
They have refused because the assessment would take to long.
Also they known I am proufondly deaf, and have been since July 2016.

Get help from the citizens advice. Id also get a letter from your gp confirming you are profoundly deaf. They CANNOT discriminate for you. Ask for a 'signer' as if interpreters are available so should signers.

They already have all my doctors letters, from 3 hearing hospitals with graphs.
my doctors letters, and letters from my neurologist with MRI results from 2 hospitals.
I can't sign, and there's no point in recording it.
I just wondered if I could write everything down to look back at?
I do feel discriminated because of one of my disabilitys.
It looks like I might have to get my husband to ask the deaf society? or like you said citizens advice?

The reason i said to get it recorded is so someone could then type it up. Ask for it to be minuted? After the tribunal ask for a "statement of reasons( within 1 month no extensions given)
" and make a S.A.R request to both the dwp and tribunals service. By law they HAVE to give you a full copy of all the paperwork they hold on you. Yes you can ask questions. It would also help a great deal to email your MP.

is there any way you could find an STT operator to come with you.
They will sit next to you and type everything word for word then you read it off a screen. Contact your local Deaf Society for advice on this.

My husband said he will contact a lady we know, at the deaf society.
She came with us to court in may 2017. I just didn't want to bother her again. It's a new claim because of my mobility. They refused to give me an assessent last time. So im a bit nervous. I'm going to send an email to my MP, just trying to think what to write.

The accessor will introduce their selves and their status, nurse, Physo, Doctor ect they have a wide knowledge of different disability issues but are not specialists in any specific disability or condition. So make their assessment on what you wrote in the 40 page pip questionair they going through the questions face to face making a report to your replays against those you put in the questionair then spend an hour or so writing up report which goes to the deceisson maker who sends out your award letter in 8 to 12 weeks as they are behind but you can request a copy of your report about a week or so after your acessment and work out from the report what you should or might get, but the award letter is a stressful wait. If it looks like not the award you should get you will have several week to prepare your appeal.

I didn't even think about the questionnaire

I have a questionnaire from my last court date, so I will try and remember what I put.
after advice from someone from scope, I've contacted my MP.
and on the 13th I received an email from a case worker, from my MPs office.
so fingers crossed.
