He might be able to get Personal Independence Payments and Employment Support Allowance..
Does he need help at home? If so, with what tasks?

Daily living tasks and mobility outdoors and social support once strong and well enough do some voluntary or permitted work where he can still keep his esa0
-
He unfortunately accumulated a lot of debits due to his gambling addiction and he has emotion unstable personality disorder EUPD0
-
He could do with a motored wheel chair or a scooter to get about as he cant walk distances due to poor mobility and he has a hip infection waiting for treatment from the nhs but he doesnt look after himself that well he misses appointment s forgets to ring gp doesnt want to make a fuss. He has very little confidence his EUPD makes it hard for him to engage with professionals0

I would have thought he is entitled to Personal Independence Payment but perhaps consider having someone looking after it for him

Hello a good staring point would be a self test on the benefits and work site to see if you would qualify for PIP, be honest with the self test as you will give yourself a false hope.see if you match any of the descriptors remember you need 8 or more points to be awarded low rate and 12 points for the enhanced award. Good luck in your self test.0
