ive just come back from my esa reassessment i asked for a female which i got i was put in a separate room i was absolutely petrified its took me nearly 4 weeks to prepare even to come out the house the lady i saw was ok she went through all the questions with me told me i was there to check if things were the same or had gotten worse she photo copied my letters as back up and said she would send to dwp i am in a support group already the lady walked me to the door and to the car where my son was she told me between 2 and 6 weeks wait for a reply i am glad its over and done with just have to wait now and really do not know what to think as she was not giving anything away just thought i would share with you thanxs

i hope you got on ok. it sounds like your assesment was better than mine. i went on esa last march i hurt my shoulder and after several steroid injections and physio i had an operation. i had to go for an esa assesment in november and was told because i was able to lift one arm above my head i no longer qualified for esa. i am right handed and it was my right arm that was damaged i have now had to go on jsa. I

hiya deb74 sorry to hear that i would of appealed it as i have learnt being on here there is a lot of options which you can do i am awaiting a appeal for pip too as that was terrible as the woman lied but i am taking it day by day so just have to wait and see this site has put a brighter outlook for me as i did not know where to turn everybody in same boat i have found out and not just me xxx

i have appealed against my esa. i have been told it could take up to 6 months for them to make a decision.
