Hello @Henry, and good to meet you.
I'm not a specialist in this area, I'm afraid, but it seems to me from your question that this would be a good link for you to go to:
    https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/money/pip/faqs?_ga=2.60210088.405444417.1517054923-1832321402.1513208436
This provides answers to 'frequently asked questions' including what and who you should take with you.
Hope this helps. Stay in touch.
    Warmest best wishes to you,
    Richard

    Aw.   History of  medical problems.
    Medication .
    How all  disabilities affected me.
Stage  by  stage she went  through the  booklet for  PIP  that  I  completed.
Overall.  She  was a nurse.  Some  physical  if I could  do them only if not  pushing  into  pain.
She  was polite  and offered  empathy .
I  was a stressed out  but  it was  not  as difficult  as  my mind  was telling me  before  I  went.
She  even  offered me a home visit if  I wanted to cancell.
She even  gave  me  breaks and fetched me   water.

    Wait and  see!

Hi @Henry and good to hear from you.

I'm sure someone will get back to you about obtaining the report but, in the meanwhile, I just wanted to say 'well done' for getting through it and how glad I am that it seems to have been relatively painless.
    Warmest best wishes to you,
    Richard

    @Henry

Phone DWP tomorrow for a copy of the report.  It won't be available yet but should be sent to you after about 10 days.

Thanks for sharing this with us @Henry, and well done! As the others have mentioned, you can request a copy of the assessment report any time from now. Fingers crossed for the outcome you're hoping for!

I   telephoned  the  DWP  today  in  Belfast.  I  requested that send me out a copy  of the PIP  assessment which  I attended yesterday .
They  informed me that I cannot  have  this  report   until  the Decision maker  makes there   decision .

I  was lead to believe by this site  one  could  get  it.
She  told  me it shall  be at least  2  months...

This is a common response in Ireland but there is no reason why
Try ringing again and if necessary ask for a call back from a Case manager

Grateful01...   so   what   action  can  u  take   the report  ?
It   seems shity,  that  in that  one hour  these   so called  assessers  can  over  throw consultants reports.
Strange  people  on DLA  one  day and  then  next   no entitlement  to  PIP....

One  factor.   We put  down  on the mobility form   that "  I could not plan  a journey  to an unfamiliar place".    The   reason:    I    do not  drive.  Unable to.
Do   u    think  I  shall  get any points    for  mobility  as I need the car to be taken about?

    Hi Henry

your reason will not score you points. Can you plan and follow a route   that you can walk ? can you use public transport ?
Driving is not part of the descriptor
