I suffer from CRPS triggered by a damaged kneecap in 2006 amd also breaking my foot and ankle in two places over a year ago...I also suffer from several mental health conditions which have always been a constant battle on a daily basis and i dont seem be good at keeping friends due to this as they always judge me differently...

Hello @Georgiaj36, and welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear about your issues, but glad to be able to welcome you here.
A key phrase in your message is about 'being judging you differently'. Well, we're all different here and no-one is going to judge you.
Here you are safe and among friends, so don't be shy of telling us about yourself or of asking any questions. The better we get to know you, the more easily we may find ways of helping and supporting you.
Looking forward to having you as a friend,
Warmest best wishes,
Richard -
Hi @Georgiaj36
A very very big welcome to you this evening.
Yes I have also got “CRPS” self diagnosed. All of the medics would only “skirt” around things!!!!!!
Please please let me know if I can help/support you in anyway ???? -
Hi @steve51
My physiotherapist diagnosed my CRPS and i have been having ongoing problems with this for over a year now and due to have an MRi Scan to assess whether i will need surgery to repair damaged nerves and tendons in foot and ankle. I was informed by my physio that i can put a PIP claim in due to the ongoing problems and the issues i have with walking etc and also claim for my mental health issues but i dont know where to start with the forms as i previously was on PIP but they disallowed it me over a year ago saying i was fit for work although my foot and ankle were in casts and i was on crutches so they bypassed my condition....so any help would be great -
