Hi again everyone I posted yesterday about seeing pip report stating on 3 different parta of report that my daughter has mainly bad days, then putting in summary she mainly has good days. I telephoned dwp to complain and tbey said that the reports were nothing ti do with them and I would have to complain to ATOS. I pointed out tbat it was the dwp who acted on tbat report by not awarding pip and tbat thet hadn't read tbw report properly. Oh and time to write uo said 11 Minutes. Ive just been reading on here 60 and 80 minutes to write up. No wonder she made a mistake.

if you loose money then appeal MR first pick points where they made mistakes , they always tell lies to save money.

Thanks i have appealed and got it all paperwork back and noticed once Iread everything together, ATOS are sending me complaints pack. Funny they have a ready made pack for all their complaints.

@duckett123, how can you say they always tell lies to save money, you aren't present at all the accessments. Maybe the claimant filled in their form and at the accessment the accessor came to a conclusion from the information given in the application form and at the accessment by the claimant that the claimant was capable of completing the activities to an acceptable standard . Now if it is plainly obvious the claimant, cannot under no circumstances complete the activities that is a different mater and must be contested and reported. We mustn't tar all accessors with the same brush the bad apples must be outed.

Hi Lillybelle if yoy go to citizens advice they have a diary sheet that you can record a typical day, you might even be able to download it, its really good Ifound in the assessors report some things that were written in the beginning didn't match what was put in the prescriptors, e.g she had put"does not walk anywhere regularly ", but then im descriptor fir moving around said" in a typical day sbe will walk to the shop". Ive had to point these out teady for appeal. I sat and made notes where things didn't match. In another sectik ut said Isnt medicated for mental health. I pointed out that no 16 year old is given medication for anxiety and depression, but was referred to Camhs.. Thry don't put enough detail because the questions are designed that way for brief answers. Make sure you state hiw your condition affects you each day. Definitely get tbe daily diary. You could also put points about how your ability to carry out mirmal activities like makingf a hot drink or cooking aftera seizure, even just walking uo stairs safely As they award you on how your condition affects you most days its important to state hiw often this hapoens.

Also they do comment on your manner and appearance they said my daughter looked well kempt and had rosy cheeks. Why is that relevant. Also she wasn't trembling or sweating. She joked and said I should have crawled in in a binbag.

The diary is useful for tbe appeal, but you could write one out anyway ans send one typical day un. I don't think they read long pieces of writing, I wrote lita of points in nMR and they didn't seem to take tbem into account. We had 2 MR as they said needed up to date medical evidence, so I sent a GPs letter un which they sent to atos, but I dont believe they even read it. and even said that they took evidence from their own assessment as is less biased tban GPs letter. But at least if you go to appeal youve got medical evidence. We were also omly 2 points away. But their decision didn't change, hence having to appeal.
