the stop. watch I ordered from Amazon, arrived a fgood few days ago. Took it from its box, took plastic from battery, and thought of we go, but no. I couldn't get it to work!!! Calmed down and 2 days later bought some new batteries and fitted one, but still no joy. Well this morning I found the box it was in read instructions, and was doing everything correct, still the thing wouldn't!, okay I thought, I will just have to send it back to Amazon. Suddenly I had an Eureka moment. I found the on switch and turned on!,!!
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

hi charlene. jackykins is right. it usually seems to be men though that do that eg putting up flat pack furniture. i am a typical tom boy. i always try to do things first and if that doesn't work then i read the instructions.
