    @hulme3030

    You do not always get your payment before the letter. My decision was made on the 9th of March and my backpayment came in yesterday. I phoned and they told me a decision had been made. It was not until I asked them what the decision was that they told me it. I would ring again and ask what the decision is.

    My letter has not came yet - probably today. Hope you get a good decision.
    Shady.

    Good luck

    It took two weeks for the letter to arrive.
    If you can ask for your assessment as well. If you don't ask they are not programmed to talk and offer you a conversation.

    Welcome to the forum. Nice to have you. Do stay in touch with us.
    Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going.

    Hi everyone, just for information when you call DWP to ask about a decision the operators won't give you any information because there is no information on your file reference to your decision. When a decision has been made the information is updated to your file and the operator can then relay the information to you, and the letter comfirmation arrives in next 10 days or so.

    PIP can passport you to other benefits such as council tax reduction, housing benefit
    If you also receive ESA then you may also claim disability  premiums if you have an IR element

    Try putting your details into one of the online benefit calculators

    ESA and PIP are separate benefits and each require their own assessment
